Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining some fame. As a California native, Calvano was initially interested in gymnastics competition. But she decided later to pursue an acting career. Her first screen appearance was an episode in 2010 of the CBS show 'NCIS. She made her big-screen debut a year after with the biographical film "J Edgar". She is now one of the hottest actresses in recent years. As a result of her appearance in "NCIS," she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Performance on a Television Series with a Guest Actor Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013, for the role of a guest on Disney XD's "Kickin' It comedy show and received a second nomination for the Young Artist Award. Calvano appeared in a number of episodes of "Mom" during its Fourth Season. She was a main role in the initial three seasons of the show. The role she played in "Mom" was recognized with the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
